My name is Marsha Marshmellow and I am a 10-12 yr old miniature poodle. I only weighed 3.8 lbs when I was pulled from the shelter. I currently weigh 5 lbs and my foster mom says I need to weigh 6 lbs. I am mostly blind but once I learn where I am you would never know it.  I even know how to use the doggie door.  I only had one tooth when I came into the rescue so I had to have a dental to get it pulled and my jaw stitched up because it had rotten into the roof of my mouth.  I eat great now though, even with no teeth!  I have the beginning stages of kidney disease and have to eat a special food to help with my kidneys, I like the canned but my foster mom cruches up the hard food and adds it to it too.  My only symptom right now is I drink a lot of water and go outside to pottty a little more than a dog with healthy kidneys.  Of course I do not have an expiration date because I am loving every moment of life and I am a strong fighter, but my doctor said anywhere from 6 months to 2 or more years especially since I have no other symptoms and my blood tests and urine is good.  Enough about all my health issues, I am the sweetest little girl you will ever meet!  All I want to do is snuggle!  Even though I can't see I get around great and learn my surroundings very quickly. I am very picky about my food so my foster mom has to cook for me because dog food really isn’t my thing, really though what princess eats dog food anyway.  Please consider donating to her continued care until she can be adopted.
