Learn more about the Rottweiler. My name is Melo, I am a purebred 18 month old Rottweiler located in Mooresville NC. I came to the rescue via the Sheriff's Dept. My owner was evicted and left me chained in the backyard and some neighbors would put some food over the fence for me now and then but but I guess when I started getting really skinny someone called the Sheriff and they brought me to my foster mommy. My prong collar was embedded in my neck and I was really thin but I have gotten all healed up now and I'm a really nice boy, I am a man's dog, I love men, I like mommy she ok but I love men so I should probably get a new man owner. I do need an Experienced Rottweiler Owner though as I am good agressive and mommy has been working with me on it and I'm doing better but I cannot go to a first time Rottweiler owner i am up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchips I have been good with female dogs and liked the kids I have met, mommy says I'm a good boy I would love a new home where I can become the best I can be and fully trust again, can you give me that home and security? my adoption fee $450
